Gentle, effective treatment for lymphatic health, post-surgery recovery and chronic conditions
Your lymphatic system is often called the body's second circulatory system, working continuously to help drain excess fluid from your tissue and return it to your blood stream.
This system is vital for managing fluid balance, removing waste products and supporting your immune function.
Understanding your lymphatic system
When your lymphatic system isn't working efficiently, whether through surgery, injury, genetics or other health conditions, fluid can build up in your tissues. This causes swelling, discomfort and can significantly impact your daily life and confidence in your body.

What is Manual Lymphatic Drainage?
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a specialised, gentle therapy that uses precise skin-stretching techniques to stimulate your lymphatic system and encourage natural fluid drainage.
Qualified in the Dr. Vodder Method, I apply rhythmic, circular movements that work with your skin rather than on it. The light pressure creates a pumping effect, moving lymph fluid through your body more efficiently and encouraging your immune system to produce more lymphocytes (white blood cells that fight infection).
MLD is performed without oils or creams, making it safe for sensitive skin and suitable even in the early stages after surgery (with consultant approval). The technique is both preventative and therapeutic, supporting your body's natural healing processes.

Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT) for Lymphoedema
If you're living with lymphoedema or lipoedema, you may benefit from a more comprehensive treatment approach.
Combined Decongestive Therapy integrates multiple elements to reduce swelling and help you manage your condition effectively:
-
Manual Lymphatic Drainage to stimulate fluid movement
-
Compression bandaging during intensive treatment phases to reduce limb volume
-
Compression garment fitting and advice to maintain results
-
Exercise and movement guidance tailored to your condition
-
Skin care and self-management strategies
Treatment is highly individual.
During your initial assessment, we will recommend treatment options. Some people may benefit from short-term intensive compression bandaging to reduce limb volume initially before moving into a maintance phase. Whilst we will make recommendations, we will always work with you based on what is realistic for you and your circumstances.

Specialist CDT services
Bandaging.
Compression bandaging during an intensive treatment phases is designed to reduce limb volume. Hopefully this is something that is only required once before moving into maintenance.
If this is recommended then it will be necessary to purchase bandages in advance of treatment. These can be purchased on prescription or privately. We can support with this.
Compression garment measurement, fitting and advice.
Compression is a key tool in managing Lymphoedema. There are many different compression garment manufacturers and styles to choose from. I work with leading compression manufacturers including Haddenham, Juzo and Medi UK. Finding the right compression isn't about just any fit; it's about finding something you'll actually wear.
If a garment isn't comfortable or tolerable, it's simply the wrong garment for you. If you are struggling with your current compression then lets discuss it. I can support with measurements, ordering garmets privately and accessing prescription services.

I worked with Jenny post successful treatment of cancer as I was suffering with Lymphoedema in my chin and I simply can't recommend her highly enough. I saw her on a weekly basis for a number of sessions where the manual lymphatic drainage massage she provided was highly effective and successfully cured all symptoms. Not only that but Jenny is extremely diligent, very thorough and incredibly patient centric.
Jon, Liphook
Jenny is an incredible professional, bringing a full range of skills, experience and talents to her services... Overtime our treatments have evolved to include lymphatic drainage work, injury prevention and strength training.
Lana, Haslemere
Jenny listened to me. Post-operative lymphatic drainage on my knee and advice on specific stretches for muscles that don't get a lot of attention got me back into the gym and enjoying exercise again. I would 100% recommend Jenny's approach.
